2.
Consultation & First Presentation
Our next step is a two-part Consultation and Presentation. A KDG designer visits your job site along with our contractor for a consultation to view the space and take measurements. A first presentation is scheduled for a week later and a design is presented. We will review exact estimates from KDG and our contractor. During this meeting, you may...
a. Sign-off on drawings and place your order (move to step 5)
b. Retain KDG to keep working on your project further (move to step 3)
c. Take home your estimates to review. Quote is valid for 30 days after presentation (move to step 3 when you are ready).
Please note no drawings will be released until the order is placed or KDG is retained for the project
$200.00
3.
Retainer Agreement
At the end of your first presentation, you will be presented with our retainer agreement which allows your KDG designer to keep working with you on your project. This retainer is applied to your final payment.
$1,000.00 Applied to last payment
4.
Design Selections
Now is the time to start finalizing layouts, door styles, finishes, hardware, appliances, plumbing, tile, flooring and lighting. Your KDG designer will be there to help you coordinate these selections.

5.
Design Approval,
Contracts & Ordering
Once all design selections have been finalized, your KDG designer will prepare the final drawings and purchase agreements for your approval. These approved drawings will be given to installers and contractors on the jobsite, which is why we require that all design selections be made at this point. We find this helps to avoid costly surprises later in the project. A deposit of 50% of the project total will be due at time of order.

6.
Preconstruction Preparation
All cabinetry is made to order with a lead time of 5-8 weeks. During this time, final measurements will be taken and a preconstruction meeting will be held. Come by KDG to check out your complimentary packing boxes that you may borrow for the duration of the project.

Project Close-out,
Move-In & Review
Finally, you get to move into your space! The project is closed out and the remaining 50% payment is due to KDG minus the retainer already paid. Now is when you will receive your product warranties and care sheets. Please leave us a review on Google or Facebook and don’t forget to return your packing boxes to KDG.
